Getting Started
What is EncoPath?
EncoPath is a comprehensive health tracking app designed specifically for families managing encopresis. It allows you to track bowel movements, medications, and progress over time, share access with partners and caregivers, and generate reports for healthcare providers.
Is EncoPath free to use?
Yes! EncoPath offers a free forever plan that includes basic tracking features. We also offer Basic ($1.99/month) and Standard ($5.99/month) plans with additional features like report exports, partner sharing, and push notifications.
How do I create an account?
Simply visit our web app or download the iOS app and click "Sign Up." You can create an account using your email address. No credit card is required for the free plan.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, click "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password. The link expires after 1 hour for security.
Features & Usage
Can I share access with multiple family members?
Yes! The Basic plan allows sharing with 1 partner, and the Standard plan allows up to 3 partners. Partners can log activities and view all tracking data in real-time.
How do I export my tracking data?
With a Basic or Standard subscription, you can export your data as PDF or CSV files. Go to your child's profile, tap "Export Data," and choose your preferred format and date range.
Can I track multiple children?
Yes, you can add multiple child profiles to your account. Each child has their own separate tracking history and settings.
How do medication reminders work?
With a Standard subscription, you can set up medication reminders that send push notifications or emails at scheduled times. You can configure daily or weekly schedules.
Is there a community forum?
Yes! Our community forum allows you to connect with other families, share experiences, and get support. Forum access is included with all plans.
Privacy & Security
Is my child's data secure and private?
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) for all data at rest and in transit. Your data is stored on HIPAA-compliant AWS servers, and we never sell or share your personal information.
Is EncoPath HIPAA compliant?
Yes, EncoPath is designed with HIPAA compliance in mind. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your family's health information.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, you have full control over your data. You can delete individual entries, child profiles, or your entire account at any time from the settings menu.
Who can see my tracking data?
Only you and the partners you explicitly invite can see your tracking data. Healthcare providers can only access data if you share reports with them.
Billing & Subscriptions
Can I switch plans later?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any charges.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment processor, Stripe. iOS app purchases are processed through Apple.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, there are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings or through your App Store subscriptions. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
Will I lose my data if I downgrade?
No, your data is never deleted when changing plans. However, some features (like partner sharing) may become limited based on your new plan.

What devices are supported?
EncoPath is available as a web app (accessible from any browser), an iOS app, and we're working on an Android app. Your data syncs across all devices.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app, or refreshing the web page. If issues persist, make sure you're using the latest version. You can also try logging out and back in.

Is there an offline mode?
Yes! EncoPath works offline so you can log activities even without an internet connection. Your data will automatically sync when you're back online.
