EncoPath is operated by WholePath Technologies, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your family. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Phone number (optional)
• Password (encrypted)

Health Information

As part of the service, you may provide:

• Child's name and date of birth
• Child's health tracking data (bowel movements, medications, etc.)
• Photos (optional, encrypted)
• Notes and observations

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

• Device information and operating system
• IP address and location data (approximate)
• Usage patterns and feature interactions

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the EncoPath service
• Send medication reminders and notifications
• Generate reports and analytics for your use
• Communicate with you about your account
• Improve our services and user experience
• Ensure security and prevent fraud

We take data security seriously. All health information is:

• Encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
• Encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
• Stored on secure AWS cloud infrastructure in the United States
• Backed up regularly with encrypted backups

Despite our security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• With your consent: When you invite family members or caregivers to access your child's profile
• Service providers: With trusted third-party services that help us operate (e.g., AWS, payment processors) under strict confidentiality agreements
• AI summaries: With our AI provider (Anthropic), in de-identified form only, to generate optional summaries you request (see "Artificial Intelligence & Automated Summaries" below)
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you)

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Restrict or object to certain data processing

EncoPath is designed for use by parents and caregivers to track their children's health information. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Parents and guardians are responsible for the information entered about their children.

We retain your account and health tracking data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we retain your data for 90 days to allow for recovery, after which it is permanently deleted, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

EncoPath is operated in the United States. If you are accessing our service from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

Some optional features — such as weekly summaries — use a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to turn your child's health data into plain-language recaps.

• Before anything is sent, the data is de-identified: we transmit only aggregate weekly totals, counts, and averages — never your child's name, your name, photos, notes, or other identifying details.
• Data is sent securely over encrypted connections, is not used to train AI models, and each summary is generated fresh.
• AI-generated summaries are provided for informational purposes only and are not medical advice.
• You can turn weekly AI summaries off at any time in Settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
